Supporting women's uterine, reproductive and digestive health
through traditional mayan and chinese bodywork methods

Kate Pope, lmt
certified practitioner of the Arvigo Technique of Maya Abdominal Therapy®

A trained labor doula turned massage therapist, I am passionate about women’s health and educating women on health and reproductive issues important to them. My focus on abdominal massage, specifically mayan abdominal therapy, allows me to express this passion by supporting women through times of change and times of imbalance. The goals of my work are to help the body find harmony through massage and to empower women with the knowledge they need to help themselves.

The Arvigo Technique of Maya Abdominal Therapy

Arvigo is a systematic therapy designed to heal imbalances through the application of
• abdominal massage
• bodywork on the low back sacrum and tailbone
• herbal tinctures
• vaginal steams
• fajas (pelvic stabilizing sashes)
Together, these modalities release deep congestion, promoting blood flow, and reducing inflammation. Arvigo Therapy offers traditional wisdom proven over time to correct many of the chronic conditions that women suffer from, improving the quality of women’s menstruation, fertility, digestion and  overall health.  learn more
